║ USE YOUR COPY, NOT THE LIBRARY'S ║
╟─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╢
║ ║
║ Never use the library's copy of the PDSOF disk. You could easily ruin ║
║ it. Remember, you are fully responsible for any damage or alteration ║
║ to the library's disk copy and its files. Therefore, make your self- ║
║ booting copy now. Follow these 3 steps: ║
║ ║
║ 1) Format a blank 360K disk. You must use DOS Version 2.0 or ║
║ higher. Use the "/S" switch (consult your DOS manual if you ║
║ are unfamiliar with disk formatting). To format a disk in ║
║ Drive B, for example, enter the following command: ║
║ ║
║ FORMAT B:/S ║
║ ║
║ 2) Copy BASICA.COM to your just-formatted disk. If you have an ║
║ IBM PC clone, consult your BASIC manual (you may, for example, ║
║ have to use BASICA.EXE and GWBASIC.EXE in place of BASICA.COM). ║
║ ║
║ 3) Copy all the files on the PDSOF disk onto your disk. ║
║ ║
